Transparency & Good governance

Don’t Be Left Behind!

Transparency and good governance are fundamental to society and impact everything from management of resources to economic growth to trust in government. Lack of transparency can prevent a community and country from reaching their full potential.

Now is the time to come together to lead Nigeria towards good governance and transparency, and hold people accountable! Every action you take, big or small, can make a difference in your society because ACCOUNTABILITY starts with YOU.

Commit to #OpenGovtNG

Commit to accountability and transparency by signing an #OpenGovtNG online petition. Signing this online petition means you pledge and commit not to or no longer:

  • Loot public funds or assets
  • Refuse to give public accounts of your tenure in public service
  • Inflate your expenditure during your tenure in public service
  • Spend above the approved budgets of your public service activities
  • Be negligent of lackadaisical at work during your time in public service.

To sign the commitment, visit the Change.org petition. We believe that this public commitment will serve as an accountability check and increase our consciousness, now and in the future to imbibe greater accountability and transparency in public service.
